I was introduced to a new job board out of New Jersey today: Getthejob.com and its jobseeker blog, Watercooler Wisdom (if this is old news, then I apologize!).
According to the site – they are powered by Google and are the FIRST Pay-For-Performace job board with no upfront fees or cost to renew. Job postings are taken directly from your corporate careers site and they do not expire until you take them off of your corporate site.
One of the pricing sheets that I saw listed the price per click at $.50 per job click – invoiced monthly.
The site touts innovative technology that automatically publishes your postings and sends your job openings to thousands of qualified candidates. Getthejob also says that they automatically post all of your jobs using intuitive technology that puts your job openings directly in front of thousands of qualified candidates.
I haven’t found anything else that elaborates on how exactly they are sending your jobs or putting them in front of candidates. This seems like the crucial element. They are also differentiating themselves somewhat from the in-vogue posting aggregators like SimplyHired and Indeed by emphasizing that jobseekers are sent directly to the corporate site to see the jobs (they pull only from corporate careers sites – not other job boards).
Interesting – does anyone have any experience with this site or know how they are getting jobseeker traffic? Anyone understand their affiliation with Google?
** I saw fine print that said no agencies or 3rd party recruiters.
p.s. Anyone else think their creative is a little too similar to Jobster’s? Jason, are you buying them too?
